Six Hundred

Can you believe this is my 600th post? Awesome!

This blog has undergone quite a bit of an evolution since I first began. I started this back in April 2008 but had a three-month hiatus before picking up and writing once more for good right around the time of my first Mud Run.

I've gradually added some things to the blog, namely stuff about my daughters and Disneyland, things that don't have much to do with running/nutrition/motivation/etc.

First, I'd like to say thanks to all my readers because without you this blog would not exist.

I'd also like to get some feedback and ask you what it is you'd like to see more of, less of, stay the same with regards to this blog. More nutrition info? Less run recaps? More Disneyland? Less Disneyland? Actually, I've been toying with a Disneyland series of blog posts but the only thing is that it would be rather involved and I'm debating whether I want to commit to it given the time it would take to get it all together. But I think you would all love it so I'm just debating.

Anyway, thanks again for reading my trusty blog. It's motivating knowing that I've got some loyal and faithful readers who, even though running may or may not be part of their lives, are willing to read about my running endeavors. I do think about my blog readers on my runs, particularly my longer runs and races, and it is motivating and is among the things that helps me get through my runs.

I get to be the first to congratulate you! How cool is that since today was my 200th post! 600 posts is quite an achievement, my friend!

I can't think of any changes I would like to see you make to your blog (except for the helmet cam, I'd still like to see that!). I love Cooking With Yvie, Motivational Mondays and all the run recaps. The posts you've done about your weight loss journey are inspiring, too. I never get tired of a success story.

The Disneyland series sounds like something I would enjoy, as long as it's not too time consuming for you.

As much as I love Disney, I must encourage you to keep up those posts.

Congratulation!

I must admit that I'm (a slacker) not a runner. However, I do get excited for you when you are preparing for a run! I am also motivated by your weight loss story and everything that you do to maintain it.

But, I gotta say...I love the posts with and about your girls! I'm a mama...what can I say??? LOL!

I hope that everytime you hear "Enter Sandman" you think of your crazy conservative blog friend in Redneckville, USA who listens to Metallica, too!

That is so neat, Congrats!!
I really like when you post calorie info, worst and best foods that kind of thing and of course cooking with your girls, they are too cute. I still make that oatmeal quick bread you posted it's a big favorite at my house.
And I really want to give you a big Thank You for inspiring me to start blogging and all the help you gave me starting out :)

I like the Disney blogs. They have definitely made me want to go SO much more and bug the hell out of M, to renew our passes!

Of course I love the running posts, but, I enjoy when you post things non-running/health related, as well.
