Halloween came and went, and while we had fun the girls' coughs made things difficult for them. Yvie got to see a doctor on Sunday and turns out she has an ear infection. The doctor have her some more meds for that but also some cough syrup that hopefully will help her recover. Doc also said no school on Monday.
Anyway, Mrs. LB took the girls out trick-or-treating on Saturday and Yvie apparently was coughing at a lot of the houses they visited, and they weren't even out very long. They got some candy but not a whole lot, which is fine for us since we are kind of stingy to giving them too much candy.
Anyway, here's what we looked like before the excursion:
The Feathery Witch (Yvie), Capt. LB (yours truly) and Jasmine (Kennedy). I went and tried to find some clothes at a local thrift store to try and pirate myself up but had no luck. I'm not very creative I guess. Oh well. At least I had some cool-looking hair.
Arrrr! Kennedy had her precious jaguar doll with her, which she refers to Baby Jaguar, of Diego fame.
Check out the cool eye makeup. Mrs. LB's artwork. What do you think?
All in all a good evening save for the coughing :)
Then, I went on a 15-mile run on Sunday morning. Welcome to November!

I hope that's all there is to it. Poor Yvie. Ear infections are the pits. Tell her that I hope she gets up to snuff really, really, soon.
Ugh, ear infections are the worst! Hope she's better soon.
The costumes are wonderful, you definitely look like a pirate!
I hope Yvie feels better soon! Oh, and you look like a pirate alright!
