I took a course in which I had to administer a "Word Association Test" to a number of people. If I remember correctly, there was a time limit on the test to ensure answers were indeed the first thought that came to mind. I was supposed to discover that the closer the relationship/background of the test takers, the more similar their responses. My dad blew that theory out of the water with some extremely oddball answers. I'm not sure anyone on the planet would have come up with his answers, including his wife of 60 years with whom he grew up.
I love word puzzles, word games and anything to do with words!
