Yvie is not the guest blogger. Sorry.

I’m jealous of my brother, Luis.

That very well may be the first time I’ve ever used that phrase. I’ll have to make sure to delete this post before he gets back from his trip because I know I’m one “PrtScn” away from him using this on me at some point in the future. I can see him pulling out a crumpled piece of paper at a family gathering, handing it to my niece, Yvie, and her saying “it says here, Uncle Danny, that you’re jealous of my daddy.”

The reason I’m jealous is that right now he’s off seeing the exotic places of the world while I’m tending to his blog on my lunch hour. While Luis is away globe trekking he left me the keys to his blog and I’ll do my best to not let the battery die from inactivity. In fact, I’ll use the blog to do the next best thing to traveling – writing about traveling and looking back on some of my more interesting traveling memories.

Now, I can’t guarantee that my posts will be as entertaining for you, trusted Muddy Runner readers, as Luis’ posts so I’ll do my best to at least entertain myself with the hope that you’ll find a nugget or two worth reading.
