Back in familiar surroundings

Greetings all. I am back home. After an eventful six days in Costa Rica, I am back in Riverside.

First, thanks to Danny to taking care of the blog while I was gone. His Egypt story was great. And although I've been gone all week, I will have a new Cooking With Yvie coming up later.

As far as the trip, I took loads of pictures. Loads. And I will post lots of stuff about Costa Rica. I don't want to steal my own thunder so I'll hold off on posting pictures until later. But I will say that Costa Rica was absolutely fantastic. The natural wonders down there are awe-inspiring. It's not often where you literally get to mingle with monkeys and swim on a beach that is yards away from a rainforest. Amazing. I would definitely recommend heading down there. The place we went to, Manuel Antonio, is a great getaway for the jungles and beaches, but there are many other points to explore down there. In Costa Rica, many people we encountered spoke English which made it easier for Mrs. LB to communicate.

Anyway, I will post a picture I suppose. I have so many that I can use one and not take away from the other pictures.

That's me on one of the rocks that was on the end of the public beach in Manuel Antonio. Great beach.

I'll be back later!
